“Read Across America” is a day to celebrate our favorite activity. The day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help get kids excited about reading. It also highlights inclusive stories so that all children across the country can see themselves reflected in a book.

Join us for a picture book reading:

      at 10am for young children

      at 4pm for school age kids

We’ll also have a fun challenge throughout the day. Pick up a challenge card at the Children’s Desk and return it with your answers to the librarian at the desk for a surprise. Recommended ages 3-10.
