Join us in celebrating National Pet Month! Stop by the Innovation Center for DIY pet toys for cats, dogs and little critters too! *While supplies last.* This craft is recommended for ages 14 and older.
This program is part of our National Pet Month Fair happening from 11-1 in the Newspapers and Magazines area. Speak with local animal shelters, learn about pet health, visit with therapy dogs, and make a pet toy in the Innovation Center. We kindly ask that you leave your fur babies at home… but that doesn’t mean you can’t show us pictures!

The Main Branch & Frances Perkins Branch will be collecting donations of pet food during the month of May in honor of National Pet Month. Please bring donations to the welcome desk. All donations will be given to Pawsitive Pantry, an organization that assists animal shelters and pet owners experiencing food insecurity. Items will be accepted through May 31, 2024.
What to donate: Canned and dry cat food, canned and dry dog food, cat litter (clumping and non-clumping), kitten and puppy food.*Items must be new and unopened.*
